![]() I haven'y posted anything on this news feed of mine in quite some time. Shows you how much I have to say. I have been pretty busy, working my own job, training a fellow at my job. Planning and taking this exciting mini vacation for Arlene and I. As well as other little troubling problems that come up in life. Like my cell phone have minor issues, That it self took quite a bit of time, I had to go though chat channel on the internet, from the cell phone manufacturer's website. Which takes forever. Then they concluding, that I had to download software on my computer, back up my cell on the computer, do a factory reset on the phone. Then go back and put my data, ect. back on my phone from the backup. Whew! After this mini vacation, I hope to get back on the game and contiune to beef up some of my current projects www.highwaymag.com and dailyencouragement.tk . Then my plans is to overhaul www.goodnewsdistribution.com. And just maybe learn a little more about Host Gator, the price is right for all they have to offer. ![]() Shew we, been a long day on the road. Earl and I tried to get out of San Antonio early. But it wasn't meant to be. Then it turns out both our 3 way of trucks only run 62 MPH. We only made it to Roswell New Mexico. 549 miles. Wish we could have gotten at least another 100 miles. But then again it wasn't meant to be. We will see what tomorrow brings. I have a plenty back issues of Greg Laurie, Highways & Byways, Wreched Radio, The Tech Guy, and even some episodes of Car Talk. So believe me I have plenty to listen to in this brand new truck with no radio. For any of you that can, try to go to a good bible believing church tomorrow. GOD is good and he Good Night, What is there to say? Um maybe I should remind everyone that reads this, that yes GOD still loves you. Darn if I know why, I know some of you and its a little iffy for me. All kidding aside. GOD is still in control no matter how bad the news is out there.
Now for my not so interesting news. I got 2 of 3 trucks delivered yesterday in Lawrence Kansas. Then I drove over 200 miles to Collinsville, Illinois. I have only 1 truck left going to Kindron, Ohio. Expect to stay in Wooster Ohio tonight. That is only a few miles to Kindron from there. There is a fellow I have only meet by phone from the ministry of Highways and Byways lives less than 20 miles from Wooster, I am hope-ing he and I can meet in person tonight. The plans are to deliver this last truck about 7 or 8 am in the morning, then catch a flight back to San Antonio, and meet up with the fellow I am training, to dispatch either Friday evening or Saturday morning. ![]() God just keeps allowing me to have a good day. Made the trip back to San Antonio without a flaw. My trainee needs a couple days off to tend to personal business. So I suppose I will go try to get a somewhat short load, about 2 or 3 days to complete, then get back here to meet up with him again. We shall see if this plan workd ![]() Over all it has been a very good weekend. I got to spend the weekend in a motel, working on projects I love best. Websites. Truckers daily encouragement for one. As well as others. Still trying to make Highways and Byways easier to download their podcast. My sister is working on one of my projects as well. Helping me to get all the locations together (for the website), where Highways and Byways CDs can be found. I got to walk to a Non-Denominational church today. Was a beautiful day in Cedar Rapids for that. |
